Leaders of Zion Travelers, we are facing a critical time in the life of our church. In front of us are an aging congregation, diminishing numbers among youth and young adults, campus and facility beautification, becoming more technologically fit and functional, adequate representation as Missouri Missionary Baptist State Convention President's church. As leaders, how do you define servant leadership? Are your members inspired by your leadership? Does your ministry have measurable goals from which to measure kingdom progress. This retreat is designed to inspire leaders who are already committed to the work. We are sitting in the center of a residential area ravaged by gun violence, drugs, lowering property values, cultural incompetence, apathy and complaceny with decline. Jesus called us to be salt and light (Matthew 1:13, 14). Oh how urgent our community and land needs the salt and light of Christian disciples. Please take a moment, get alone with the Lord and complete the survey. Please answer honestly and truthfully. We need real answers, so we can make real change.
