At West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service we are trialling the introduction of a flexibility programme into our Firefighters working lives.
We expect to see that by increasing flexibility and mobility in Firefighters, physical resilience to injury improves and we should enjoy a reduction in Musculo-Skeletal Injuries.
There will be a pre and post-trial survey to collect data on the self-reported benefits such a programme brings the individual.
