My fellow high school students and I have used electronic textbooks. Generally, these seem to be little more than online versions of the paper form. My fellow students and I are working on a project to create electronic textbooks that use artificial intelligence to make the textbooks more interactive, enhance students learning and provide teachers with feedback on student learning needs. We are currently surveying students to get their input on what features they would like to see in our electronic textbooks. We think it is important for the students to have an equal say.
